Terms of Service

Cancellation Policy:

We kindly request a minimum of 24-hour notice for cancellations. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but any cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will be subject to a cancellation fee of $65. Cancellations can be made directly by calling (905) 960-0181 or emailing info@pjllandservices.com. All cancellations must be confirmed by PJL Land Services.

Payment Policy:

We bill post job completion for all services, and payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. Invoices are subject to late fees if payment is not received within 15 days. Late fees consist of a one-time $30 fee plus $1.50 per day. The balance must be paid in full to avoid any further late fees. Late fee charges will not be reduced or removed.

 

Access to Property:

We are able to access all necessary equipment to complete the service even if the client is not present. However, if access is not made available to us, a $65 cancellation fee will be charged.

 

Service Refusal:

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service due to safety concerns or inappropriate situations.

 

Hourly Quotes/Estimates/Jobs and What to Expect:

Please note that while we strive to complete all tasks within the estimated time, factors beyond our control may require additional time at our agreed hourly rate. Time estimates provided are guidelines and may vary depending on various factors such as repair type and ground conditions.

 

Damages and Deficiencies:

While we make every effort to minimize damage during service, some damages may occur beyond our control. Clients are advised that certain repairs, such as trenching and repair in turf and grass sections, may result in damages to planting materials or grass areas with shallow root bases.

 

Deficiencies:

Clients must notify PJL Land Services within seven (7) days of job completion regarding any concerns regarding the completion or quality of our work. Failure to notify PJL Land Services within this timeframe will remove such concerns as a reason to withhold payment. Any issue believed to be a warranty repair will be addressed with the understanding that all repairs are assumed to be billable unless determined to be covered by warranty.

 

Warranty:

All work described on the Invoice or Proposal has a two-year warranty on workmanship unless noted otherwise. Fixtures or materials may have a manufacturer’s warranty beyond our warranty period. Clients are responsible for submitting manufacturer’s warranty registrations. Warranties are void while balances remain unpaid.
