The depth behind every system

Built on a foundation that runs deeper than irrigation.

A sprinkler system is one piece of a larger picture — landscape grading, soil drainage, hydraulics, water source, plant material, and the trade sequencing that happens before and after the install. PJL's work is grounded in three connected trades, which is why the systems hold up over time.

Foundation 01

Plumbing-Grade Hydraulics

Every PJL design begins with hydraulics — pressure, flow rate, backflow protection, and water source matched to the property. That foundation comes from years of plumbing trade experience across residential, commercial, and industrial work, which is why systems run efficiently from day one.

Foundation 02

Industrial-Scale Experience

PJL's standards were developed across residential, commercial, and industrial irrigation projects throughout Ontario. That breadth means uncommon problems get diagnosed correctly, and every job — large or small — receives the same engineering rigour.

Foundation 03

Multi-Trade Coordination

Sprinkler work happens alongside grading, drainage, planting, and every other trade on a property. PJL's project-management background in civil construction means jobs are planned and sequenced from the start — fewer surprises and a cleaner finished landscape.

About PJL

What PJL stands for.

PJL Land Services has been providing lawn irrigation across York Region and the GTA for more than a decade — designing, installing, and maintaining systems built on careful engineering and long-term thinking. Every system is designed for the property it lives on. Grade pitch, shade coverage, soil composition, and water source all factor into the design before a single head is placed.

Hunter Hydrawise smart controllers come standard. Hunter and Rain Bird parts are used on every install. Quotes are written, fixed, and delivered before any work begins — and the price on the quote is the price on the invoice.

The team is built selectively. A trusted irrigation specialist works alongside the operation for larger jobs, and additional crew is added when scope requires it. Every customer relationship is treated as long-term, not transactional — and every job, regardless of size, is held to the same standard end to end.

How PJL works

The standards behind every job.

  1. Fixed-price written quotes

Every quote is written, fixed, and delivered before any work begins. The number on the quote is the number on the invoice.

  2. Free design consultation

45 minutes on-site, walking through what's there or what's needed. If a system doesn't need work, we'll tell you.

  3. Hunter Hydrawise smart controllers, standard

Smart controllers come included on every new install. Adapts to live weather data and conserves water automatically. The water savings typically cover the controller cost within one or two seasons.

  4. Three-year warranty on parts and labour

Three years of full coverage on every component and every hour of work, because the system should hold up that long.

  5. Same-day repair, April through October

In season, repairs are typically dispatched same-day. If we can't reach a property the same day, we'll tell you on the call so the day isn't spent waiting.

What we believe

The principles behind every job.

Honest diagnostics

If a system doesn't need replacement, we won't pretend it does. Repair vs. replace is always math, never pressure.

Quality parts, every time

Hunter and Rain Bird only — manufacturer-supported components that hold up across seasons of freeze-thaw cycles.

Local accountability

PJL is rooted in Newmarket and operates across York Region. The same operation that quotes the work stands behind it long after the install.

Pricing transparency

Real prices in writing — on the website, in the quote, on the invoice. From first call to final receipt.
